choice are Sedgwick’s First Grade, vegetable tanned English bridle butts. Arguably the best strap leather on the planet, it is well known for its strength, durability, density and lustre.

Having chosen the best raw materials, each step of The Belt Makers’ art is carried out
by hand with no electrical machinery used during any part of the process. Straps are
individually cut with a hand tool called a plough gauge, edges are veined with an edge
crease. Sewing is done with two hands, two needles and a length of thread, whilst the
work is held in a wooden seat vice called a 'pony'.

As the leather gradually softens and moulds to the shape of the body, your carbon
and leather belt will develop a glorious, natural shape and character, becoming a
highly desirable and wonderfully personal accessory, which improves with age.
