the carbon fibre is a very strong and durable material and will need very little care or maintenance. Occasionally you may wish to restore the shine; car polish is ideal buy any household cleaner can be used. Do not use abrasive products as these may scratch the polished surface.
Do take care to protect the leather when using cleaning products on the carbon parts. Grease proof paper is ideal for this.
Tallow is introduced to the leather skins during the tanning process and protects the during work on the item. as with any traditional tanned English bridle butt leather, the wax tallow residue comes to the surface of the skin over time. each belt is brushed well before it goes on to its new owner, however, some tallow may still rub off onto clothing for the first few times of wearing. this is normal and should brush off the clothing or wash out without any trouble. Simply brush the leather with a clean show brush to reveal the natural lustre.
The carbon fibre inlay in ZEEK raised belts is designed to be distinctive, flexible and conform to the body, however even this ultra strong material has its limits and therefore does not like to be folded or crushed. so please when packing, always roll and never fold or crease the belt.
